1. LARGER FILES SHOULD BE COMPRESSED - Use Stuffit for MAC, Zip for PC

2. PC FILES MAY BE SENT AS IS.

3. FOR MAC FILES BE SURE TO USE A BINARY TO HEX CONVERTER BEFORE UPLOADING

4. DOWNLOAD A MAC BINARY TO HEX UTILITY

When your File is ready, go to our  UPLOAD section which will open a page that looks like the following:

Then go to your WEB BROWSER'S File Menu, Select UPLOAD and choose the file to upload

After Uploading, Please contact us  (SEE BELOW) with full details - file type, file name, etc.

MAC - PC FILE NAMING CONVENTIONS

NOTE: Our ftp system runs under Windows NT and we normally process files under Windows 95 or move them to our Mac platform all using a file naming convention that is compatable with MAC's long file names. However, files may go to machines on our system or when you upload to other systems that still employ the PC DOS eight digit naming system: xxxxxxxx.xxx. A suggested good habit is to use only eight digits in your base file name so that after the binary to hex translation you have a file in the format: xxxxxxxx.hqx. In this way you'll know that your file name will always match what an operator on the PC sees - and not some arbitrary truncation that is meaningless to you both.

In the DOWNLOAD folder of our ftp site is a file named AutoBin 1.0.hqx. After downloading to a folder on your MAC, drop it on Stuffit Expander or otherwise use Stuffit to convert to an application file named AutoBin 1.0. Run this application and follow the very simple prompts to convert your uncompressed or Stuffit compressed files to .hqx files which may be uploaded to any PC or UNIX server.

IT IS BEST TO CHECK WITH US BEFORE CREATING YOUR FILES IN A PARTICULAR PROGRAM OR FORMAT TO AVOID SPECIFIC PROBLEMS.
